ABOUT US

The Community Partnership Coalition of Herkimer County, (CPCHC  ) is a substance abuse prevention coalition that serves all of Herkimer County.  CPCHC was formed in May of 2012 by the Herkimer County Prevention Council, which is a program of Catholic Charities of Herkimer County.  While our focus is on prevention of substance use towards the youth population, we also work towards community education and awareness.

Some of the things we offer:

  • Informational trainings on current trends

  • Educational trainings surrounding substance abuse

  • Narcan Trainings

  • Community awareness events

  • Quarterly newsletter

  • Rx drop box locations

  • Other prevention education materials

The Drug-Free Communities support program is a  nationally funded grant opportunity that the Partnership was able to obtain through the hard work of the coalition.  This funding opportunity has made it possible for the coalition to do more work for the community by increasing awareness and education, providing trainings and events, and host speakers and presenters.
